New Jack Swing/Soul/Hip Hop/Funk/R&B Here is New Jack (RnB/Swing) and soul artist James 'J.T.' Taylor 's 1989 debut album titled: 'Master Of The Game'! EXCELLENT Album! His real name is James Warren Taylor, he is best known for his career with Kool & The Gang. He joined the group in 1979 and stayed with them until 1989 when he embarked on a solo career by making this album. Before his rise to fame, Taylor was a schoolteacher and amateur night club singer having first joined a band at the age of 13. In Kool & the Gang, he was the band's lead singer/rapper.
